34 PointsHow to save this data to my database on Parse?
My app features a counter which keeps track of votes from users in different polls, but I'd like to be able to save votes for each choice in my database on Parse.com, and display the number of votes for each of those choices once a user submits a vote. How would I do that? Here is my code below:
class ViewController: UIViewController {
override func viewDidLoad() {
super.viewDidLoad()
// Do any additional setup after loading the view, typically from a nib.
var testObject = PFObject(className:"TestObject")
testObject["foo"] = "bar"
testObject.saveInBackgroundWithTarget(nil, selector: nil)
}
override func didReceiveMemoryWarning() {
super.didReceiveMemoryWarning()
// Dispose of any resources that can be recreated.
}
@IBOutlet weak var votesDisplay: UILabel!
var counter = 1
@IBAction func buttonPressed(sender: AnyObject) {
votesDisplay.text = " \(counter++)"
}
@IBOutlet weak var votesDisplay2: UILabel!
var counter2 = 1
@IBAction func buttonPressed2(sender: AnyObject) {
votesDisplay2.text = " \(counter2++)"
}
}
