Your code is fine, the problem is with your string. When the task states that the string should look something like this:

name really past tense verb this coding exercise.

It in reality meant that it has to look exactly like that. These challenges are very picky about text output, so if the string does not match the expected output to the dot (literally in many cases) then your code will be marked as wrong.

If you change your string so that it matches the expected format like this:

String name = console.readLine("Enter your name   ");
String pastTenseVerb = console.readLine("Enter pastTenseVerb   ");
console.printf("%s really %s this coding exercise.",name,pastTenseVerb);

Then your code will pass the challenge.
