How to target main-content with an ID selector?

What I have now:

.main-content { background-color: lightsteelblue; }

Don't forget that IDs are signified with a # and classes are with a .

Selecting IDs requires # (hashtag) before the id name

}

While selecting classes uses . (dot/period) before the class name
