How to upload .htaccess to public.html file in hosting account?

Hi! I'm uploading all my files to the public.html of my hosting account but I'm worried because I don't know how to upload the .htaccess file because it doesn't show up in the folder.

How can I upload the .htaccess file up to the public.html folder in my hosting account?

What ftp client you use.? Try filezilla - you should see all files. Check file permissions - maybe here is the problem. Do you use iOS, Windows or linux?
