2,157 Pointshow to use "from cvxpy import * " in atom(compiler).
I want to import 'cvxpy' in a python program. Does anyone know how I can install this to atom (compiler) ? To import 'numpy' I had to type the following in the command-line: python -m pip install numpy. If I type 'python -m pip install cvxpy' I get an error.
the import line in my program looks like this:
from cvxpy import *
Thanks for any help on this.

2,157 Pointsthank you for the answer James. I tried the link for installing Anaconda, but the page wouldn't load. When I tried 'pip install cvxpy' in the command line, this didn't work either. Some installation startet, but ended with a big amount of red-colored data that i didn't understand.. Is there any other options?

12,361 PointsIt is recommended that to install cvxpy, you do that by using Anaconda
Step 1: Install Anaconda: https://store.continuum.io/cshop/anaconda/ Step 2: Install cvxpy with conda.
Can also be installed with PIP
pip install cvxpy
