How would I get the laps argument to increment every time i run the method?

The error keeps telling me to make sure that the laps argument is set to 0.

racecar.py
class RaceCar:
    def __init__(self, color, fuel_remaining, **kwargs):
        self.color = color
        self.fuel_remaining = fuel_remaining
        for key, value in kwargs.items():
            setattr(self, key, value)

    def run_lap(self, length):
        laps = 0
        (self.fuel_remaining - length) * 0.125
        laps += 1

Remember that instance variables must be prefixed by "self." and they should be initialized only once in the "__init__" methods.
