How's my portfolio website looking?

HI,

Ive nearly completed the web design track and have already started on some wordpress development. so I've now finished my portfolio website and was just after some comments on how it looks and any improvements you might suggest.. please check it out if you don't mind..

Hey Garry,

Looking good! I would change the contact field to make content stand out a little bit. Those lights in the background really make the text hard to read. Other than that it looks great to me.

Thanks for your commente James, yeah your right I definatly need to change the contact section.. im thinking maybe a different darker image and bolder font

You should change the contact page difficult to read the text.

It looks really good my only complaint is the contact section. The background and the text make it extremely hard to read. But other than that Good job. Also regarding you'r skills What are you basing the percentage off of?

Hi Wilfredo, Thanks for your comments and looking ay my site. Yeah most comments here say about the contact section so I will be making some changes there.. And the skills - well I'm just roughly basing the percentages on confidence i feel in each of the skills I guess... But i may also adjust this in some way too..

Hi Gary,

Looking great - good start! Couple recommendations:

  1. Limit the height of your image on the mobile layout. It takes up a lot of the screen
  2. Use more exciting imagery for your portfolio

I like the % for your skills - great work!

Nice one for checking out my site and giving me some feedback - much appreciated!

Yeah I think I need to make a few css adjustments on mobile layout now and also the contact section as others have suggested on here.

I agree with the portfolio imagery - its quite dull at the minute and that's probably the most important section of the site which needs to stand out so will be sure to sort that out asap.
