How's the job market for Ruby on Rails compared to PHP ?

Hello Web-Developers.

I'm thinking about learning PHP or Ruby on Rails for back-end development. Would you go for PHP or Rails for the purpose of getting a job as a back-end developer ? Which one has the highest job demand ?

You really need to look at the market where you live. It all depends so look for work and see what the demand is where you are and then learn that. Unless your willing to relocate then it doesn't really matter, pick what interests you and then move to where the jobs are. I hope that helps good luck, dont make the wrong choice :P.
