I'm doing a website at Yahoo hosting and they dont allow access to ht.access file to clean the URL. Is there a work around?

not trying to be funny (well maybe a little bit), however if you want the control that you are after, then you'll need to move hosting to someone that lets you have a bit more control.
yahoo doesn't support htaccess editing
wordpress, can't edit htaccess on yahoo
... the list goes on of stack overflow and forum posts looking for a work around, pretty much everyone that decided they really needed the access, ended up moving hosts
