.htaccess redirect to subfolder. Subpages still displaying subfolder name

I recently had to re-install my site due to webhostingforstudents.com migrating my hosting and having issues. I am keeping my site in a subfolder, and I ran the .htaccess redirect which works so that my url points to my subfolder dk.davidklotzdesign.com and displays as davidklotzdesign.com. However, when I click on a menu item and it takes me to another page it displays as dk.davidklotzdesign.com/about. I've googled this and have not been able to find an answer regarding this issue. If I manually type "davidklotzdesign.com/about" then it will display correctly, just not if I click the actual links. Does anyone have experience with this issue and know how to resolved it? Thanks in advance.
