If you're using an internal stylesheet, your style tags will generally be in the head of your document:

    h1 {
  <h1>Your Main Heading</h1>

If you're using inline styles, the style tag will actually be an attribute within your h1 tag, or whatever element you're styling:

<h1 style="background-color: black; color: white...">Your Main Heading</h1>
