HTML CSS Technique Study

I came across a website, its URL is : http://astateofwar.org.au/#home Can anyone tell me how to achieve the effect of the images moving away from each other when hovered on the feature and soldier section?

:point_right: This is done with CSS Transitions and Transforms, which is a topic covered in the CSS - Beyond the Basics course offered here.

It also can be done using JavaScript, but the CSS method is newer and easier (and what they use on that site).
