Just like "Karsten Harrison" said, you need to always remember closing your html tags(aside from some cases, like the <img> tag). Remember that everything else in your website goes between your <html><!-- all your code goes here--></html> opening and closing tags.

Hello James! Be sure to remember to close your <html> tag. Your code should look like this:

<!DOCTYPE html> <html></html>
