HTML Video

Hi. I have just finished the HTML video/audio section. I was wondering what the pros/cons to using the <video> tags as opposed to embedding Youtube/Vimeo. I had a quick look on all my favourite websites to see what they used and they all seem to use the latter.

embedding from youtube is less storage on the site, so the page load faster ;)
