Any chance we can get more lessons on html5 that take examples of cutting edge techniques in design?

As a rule of thumb, cover the essentials from one place (TeamTreeHouse) and then compliment your learning from here with additional links to resources (e.g. sitepoint.com) and book references (e.g. smashingmagazine.com). If you have learned HTML from here (and is doable), stick to TreeHouse for HTML5. Once done with the course here you can find numerous resources to help practice.
