https not so secure?

I read that the https secure Is not always secure as if any connections to the site are unsecured it provides a back door for hackers etc can anyone elaborate

Hi Thomas. There should be a lock icon too for a secure connection.

Hey Thomas! :) When a webpage has an SSL certificate, it means that the site is encrypted between you and the server, so if anyone tries to sniff your connection and tries to see what data the web server and you are exchanching, it will be encrypted. =]
