Hyperlinks text decoration not being removed on HTML email signature

Hi folks,

At work I was tasked to fix an internal email signature, which is built with tables and inline css as per regular html emails,

When testing it though, on Outlook, the hyperlinks text decoration, although it should be removed as they have text decoration set to none, is still there...

I tried different options: 1) setting text-decoration: none to !important 2) Keeping 2 declarations, one with important and one without 3) using <style> a { text-decoration: none; }</style> at the top of the document

None worked, please help.

try a:link { text-decoration:none; }

if it will help, make it best answer please)

I am sorry but it didn't work,

Ideally I'd like to remove the underlines on hyperlinks also when the email message is forwarded and/or replied to...

Fabio Carneiro perhaps has an idea?
