JavaScript JavaScript and the DOM (Retiring) Making Changes to the DOM Modifying Elements

I already defined this variable in question 1. When I try to redefine, it fails. What am I supposed to do?

just remove the var. to reassign a value you just need to have the value name and the assignment and also the id of the a tag was 'link'. So the correct answer is inputValue = document.getElementById('link').value;

that should work.
