I am confused on where I am puting my name.

I am at the point to where i need to put opening<h1>tag and closing<h1>tag and I says put my name somewhere

Your name should fit between the <h1> tag´s... The tag´s are <h1> and </h1>.

In HTML tags are generally have a starting tag and closing tag:

<tag></tag>

The content of this tag goes between the opening and closing tag:

<tag>Content</tag>

So in your case :

<h1>Jordan</h1>
