I am confused. PLEASE HELP!!

I am really confused because the mainactivity.java in the last video looked like mine but in the next video it look really different. The one on the video has numbers on the side but mine doesn't. It just has little plus and minus signs to open and close the section of code. If anyone can help please respond.
