I am doing what Nick Pettit said and it won't work!

I don't think you are doing what Nick said. This is what you should be doing in the challenge:

<style>
  h1{
  }
</style>
<h1>Nick Pettit</h1>

Pay close attention at where the brackets are being positioned for the H1 element.
