I am front-end developer and have covered so much in treehouse and I am facing challenges to design my first website

I have covereD MANY lessons and I have good knowledge of web designing but when I come to the real world to design something by my own i feel like my head empty and it takes me time to do something so silly so is it basically something that every one face it or its only me?

Hey there Mohammed,

I absolutely know what you mean and I think everyone feels like this in the beginning. In the learning process basically almost everything is prepared for you and you're just following along but the real solidifying of your skills happens in the real world when you're using what you've learned and you're facing problems you have to solve. So it's perfectly normal that you're maybe feeling a bit overwhelmed now and you don't know how to use the skills you've learned.

I would recommend that while you're designing/making your first website you do everything step by step and just re-watch the videos here on Treehouse for each step and read additional resources on the current task. Also don't think that you have to know everything by heart as this is almost possible with all the skills a web developer has to know nowadays.

I also recommend reading this great blog post here in the Treehouse blog by Andrew Chalkley. It's totally fine to copy & paste code or to look for a solution for a problem you're experiencing online and everyone does that so don't be afraid to use a search engine, Stackoverflow, the Mozilla Developer Network or any other resource while you're building your website. I hope that helps, good luck building your website! :)
