I am getting an error with on "v" 4;4, and I am not sure why that is.

I am not sure I keep getting an error on this one.

app.js
const section = document.querySelector('section');
let paragraphs = section.children;

if (var i = 0; i < paragraphs.length; i++) {
    paragraphs[i].textContent.color = 'blue';

    };
index.html
<!DOCTYPE html>
<html>
    <head>
        <title>Child Traversal</title>
    </head>
    <body>
        <section>
            <p>This is the first paragraph</p>
            <p>This is a slightly longer, second paragraph</p>
            <p>Shorter, last paragraph</p>
        </section>
        <footer>
            <p>&copy; 2016</p>
        </footer>
        <script src="app.js"></script>
    </body>
</html>

I think you are looking for a for loop. I also believe textContent is used for setting text but not color. That can be done using style.

for (var i = 0; i < paragraphs.length; i++) {
    paragraphs[i].style.color = 'blue';
    };
