It doesn't work when I try and choose the background color. It's in the tutorial for android. It is in the creating the screen layout section.
<RelativeLayout xmlns:android="http://schemas.android.com/apk/res/android"
android:layout_width="match_parent"
android:layout_height="match_parent"
android:background="@android:color/#fff092b0">
<TextView
android:id="@+id/textView1"
android:layout_width="wrap_content"
android:layout_height="wrap_content"
android:layout_centerHorizontal="true"
android:layout_centerVertical="true"
android:text="Treehouse loves me!"
android:textColor= "@android:color/white"
android:textSize="72sp" />
</RelativeLayout>

57,712 PointsHi Ken,
You don't want the @android:color
prefix as you're not using a pre-defined colour. Just add the hex code inside quotes as you are using a custom colour:
android:background="#fff092b0"
That should work for you!
Steve.
