Since you posed this in the Python area, I'd guess that's your immediate interest.

Most likely the Learn Python track would be the perfect way to get started.

That would very much depend upon what you goals are. Can you tell us abit about what you would like to do with your programming knowledge in the long term? ex) I like to use windows based computers, I want a job that pays well. - Ok, learn Java to start with as it is a catch all starting place, move from there into C++ ex) I like to use mac based computers and I want to make apps - OK start with swift and IOS app development. ex) I want to make apps? - Start with java and android development ex) I don't know what I want to do, I just like to play on computers - Ok lets play a bit and see what you like, I would suggest starting with Java and after you are done with that take a look at HTML/CSS for some front end development, if you hate the html/css but liked the Java then get more into back end development. ex) I like to make things that I can see my progress and make things pretty. ex) I want a challenge.

I hope that helps give you and idea..... tell us about what you like to use and what your goals are, then we can make some recommendations. There are some many ways ahead, but your interests and goals can help show you the way.
