I believe the answer, should look like this:

function arrayCounter (arr) {    //creating arrayCounter function that accepts one argument
   if (arr instanceof Array) {   //check if the argument given to function is an Array
      return arr.length          //if it is, return length
   } else {                      //else return 0
      return 0
   }
}
