I am not sure why the && is not working for the else if

below is the code in question. The last else if I added && to the condition.

var money = 9; var today = 'Friday'

if ( money >= 100 || today === 'Friday' ) { alert("Time to go to the theater");
} else if ( money >= 50 || today === 'Friday' ) { alert("Time for a movie and dinner");
} else if ( money > 10 || today === 'Friday' ) { alert("Time for a movie");
} else if ( today === 'Friday' && money < 9) { alert("It's Friday, but I don't have enough money to go out");
} else { alert("This isn't Friday. I need to stay home."); }

script.js
var money = 9;
var today = 'Friday'

if ( money >= 100 || today === 'Friday' ) {
  alert("Time to go to the theater");
} else if ( money >= 50 || today === 'Friday' ) {
  alert("Time for a movie and dinner");
} else if ( money > 10 || today === 'Friday' ) {
  alert("Time for a movie");
} else if ( today === 'Friday' && money < 9) {
  alert("It's Friday, but I don't have enough money to go out");
} else {
  alert("This isn't Friday. I need to stay home.");
}

&& "logical and" : both conditions are true

|| "logical or" : only one condition must be fulfilled

You are near. Change it the || operators to && operators. The after money < 10 so now the conditional is true. Now your code is good! Please check Logical Operators page. Hope this help!
