I am stuck on document.write printing the contents of the player variable. Please Help!

What am i doing wrong with the document.write statement?

var player = 'Jasmine';
document.write = ('Jasmine');
index.html
<!DOCTYPE HTML>
<html>
<head>
  <meta http-equiv="Content-Type" content="text/html; charset=UTF-8">

I see a couple of issues:

  • there should not be an equal sign between the function name and the parentheses
  • inside the parentheses, use the variable name instead of repeating what's in it
