iOS Build a Simple iPhone App with Swift Deploying to a Device Running on a Device

i am trying to deploy an example app and view it on my iphone. how can i connect to the iphon.

i am viewing the deploy lecture and cannot connect to my iphone. i am using vmware to run the vm for mac. xCode and all other parts are working well. Can anyone help.

You'll need to buy a $99 a year Apple iOS Developer Program membership. Have you done that?
