I cannot get apache working on both mamp and xampp at the same time.

Whenever I get one going, the other will not turn apache green. any help?

Hey Alexander,

I'm a little confused as to why you are trying to run both at the same time? Which, I don't believe is even possible.

If you're on a Mac, which I'm assuming you are as you are able to use MAMP which stands for (Macintosh, Apache, MySQL, PHP). XAMPP is essentially the same thing, just designed for Cross Platform use (hence the "X"). So, if you start the Apache server in MAMP, you won't be able to start the same server again in XAMPP.

Long story short. You only need one. MAMP if you are using a Mac.
