I cannot select the option Action (for @IBAction). Instead, I only see Outlet or Outletcollection as options.

I was following the direction but this weird thing happened: I did not see the Action option.

Make sure when the pop up screen appears after you drag the button to the View Controller that you click the Outlet drop down and then select Action!
