I can't edit the CSS stylesheet links to have a padding of 10px.

The padding cannot change without me getting it wrong.

you are trying to define padding outside of the class car.

.car {
  display: block;
  margin: 40px auto; }   /* here you have and extra bracket, remove it  and it should work */
padding: 0;
}
