        <div id="content">
            <label>Link Name:</label>
            <input type="text" id="linkName">

  1. > var inputValue = document.getElementById('linkName').value; // This will be used to get the value of the Input field ( which is already mentioned in HTML ).

var inputValue = document.getElementById('linkName'); //This can be used to udpate/add the value of Input. inputValue.value = "Rogers Smith"; ( Input tags does not have any TextContent )

  1. > let a = document.getElementById('link').textContent; // This will get the all the Text which is between #link. Example: <a id="link" href="https://teamtreehouse.com"> Always Fun!! </a> // Will return "Always Fun!!".

Solution will be:

var inputValue = document.getElementById('linkName').value; inputValue = "Some value"; let a = document.getElementById('link');

a.textContent= inputValue;
