I cant figure this out.

var inputValue = document.getElementById('linkName').value; let a = document.getElementById('link').textContent; I cannot figure this out.

var inputValue = document.getElementById('linkName'); //This can be used to udpate/add the value of Input. inputValue.value = "Rogers Smith"; ( Input tags does not have any TextContent )

> let a = document.getElementById('link').textContent; // This will get the all the Text which is between #link. Example: <a id="link" href="https://teamtreehouse.com"> Always Fun!! </a> // Will return "Always Fun!!".

Solution will be:

var inputValue = document.getElementById('linkName').value; inputValue = "Some value"; let a = document.getElementById('link');

a.textContent= inputValue;
