CSS How to Make a Website Customizing Colors and Fonts Use Classes in CSS

I can't make my h2 text dark green when it's selected. My code is exactly the same as Nick's.

It's the same for hovering over the text. My code is correct, but it won't go through.

Try something like this?

h2:hover{
  color: darkgreen /*or whatever hex value*/
}

Unless you mean the navigation (links), for which Nick's code is more like:

nav a.selected, nav a:hover{ /*Remember to give a link the selected class*/
  color: /*your color*/
}

If you already have this in your code, then perhaps try refreshing the preview page.
