i cant put git as version control system in VCS ?

There comes a pop up msg saying that .. "path to the git executable is not valid "

You need to tell Android Studio where the path to Git.exe is :-)

I'm not sure about Mac but sometimes on Windows this can be tricky to find as Windows hides some folders.

You may need to explore your OS file system to find it but here's a Stack Overflow page that talks about linking AS to your Git executable file. https://stackoverflow.com/questions/26077449/i-cant-find-my-git-exe-file-in-my-github-folder
