CSS CSS Basics (2014) Understanding Values and Units Styling the Intro Paragraph

I cant seem to get setting the font-size value correct?

Hi, im trying to do a code challenge where it is telling me to do this "In the style sheet, select the intro class and add a font-size property. Using 16px as the parent font-size context, give intro an em font-size value equivalent to 20px."

I am typing "#intro { font-size: 1.25em; }"

But it isn't taking it. What am i doing wrong?

Hey Matt, looks like you are trying to select intro as an 'id'. Since you assigned intro as a 'class' you would need to select it by using '.intro' instead of '#intro'. Hope this helps!

/* Complete the challenge by writing CSS below */
.intro {
  font-size: 1.25em;
}

This did help! I was not paying much attention to that little mistake there, but thank you for your assistance!
