I can't type my password to GitHub on workspace

I tried to push my folder into GitHub by git push -u origin. I being asked for the username, which works fine, but when I am trying to print my keyboard, there is no possibility to do so. Any idea how to fix it?

when you type a password into your terminal, it never shows anything ... it looks like it is not working, but it actually is and when you hit enter ... it'll accept it ...

Thank you Jan. That really worked
