Radislaw;

Welcome to Treehouse!

Inside the:

a {
   color: red;
}

You need to add the exception as the task states for the div.footer, the syntax for the post-selector ampersand is:

div.footer &{color:purple;}

Post back if you are still stuck.

Happy coding,
Ken
