I can't understand it completly

Basically, they are looking to see if you have a basic understanding of how *args are passed into a function and how it can be iterated through.

Below is NOT the answer to the challenge, but shows how you would approach the problem. With a multiplication function, remember to start at 1.

def count_args(*args):
    count = 0
    for arg in args:
        count = count + 1
    return count
