I changed the Id in the HTML file to inputValue but getting error messages - not sure where to go from here

I changed the Id in the HTML file to inputValue but getting error messages and edited the .js file - not sure where to go from here

On the original challenge, the id name they want you to select is 'linkName' and not 'inputValue', as you have specified above in the code.

Otherwise, your code is great and should work. All you need to do is fix the id name that you want to select.

You didn't need to change the id of the input element in the HTML file,

let inputValue = document.getElementById('linkName').value;

Keep the id of the input element as linkName
