Hi Thananjaya,

You are over complicating this challenge. You can pass this challenge with the below code:

def printer(count):
    print("Hi " * count)
james south
seal-mask
.a{fill-rule:evenodd;}techdegree seal-36

you don't need a loop for this one. it tells you you can multiply a number and a string, that's all you need. for instance, 4 * 'no' = 'nononono'. your function just needs to print the string multiplied by the number.
