i could not do the challenge task part 1 in java script basics which is about passphrase

i couldn't understand how should i do this part.

You need to use the toUpperCase() method on the id tag to convert all letters to uppercase. You can add the method to the end of the variable name. See below:-

var id = "23188xtr";
var lastName = "Smith";

var userName = id.toUpperCase();
