Java Java Basics Getting Started with Java IO

I did everything correctly, But the bummer keep saying "Did you forget to pass the `firstName` parameter to the printf "

Will someone please check my code that what is wrong here?

IO.java
// I have imported java.io.Console for you. It is a variable called console.
String firstName ="desh"; console.readLine("what is your name?  ");
String lastName = "mishra"; console.readLine(" what is your last name?  ");
 console.printf("First name:%s", firstName );

The error message is alittle misleading. you want to declare your firstName and lastName variables at the console.readLine..

String firstName =  console.readLine("what is your name?  ");
String lastName =  console.readLine(" what is your last name?  ");

So what will happen is when the program is run - the command line will prompt you for input, asking your first and last name, and then storing your input into those variable names.

Sometimes you don't get the most accurate error message on some of these challenges, but i believe that should be the only problem with your code.
