Android Build a Simple Android App Creating the Screen Layout Adding a TextView

I did what it told me to.

I dragged the Plain TextView into the screen and nothing happened.Only the file on the side of the screen that said "New Text".I selected the file and still nothing happened.I changed the size of the text to 24sp but it still won't work!
