Android Build a Simple Android App (2014) Getting Started with Android Setting Up an Android Development Environment for Windows

I dnt have a jdk folder only a jre folder. I tried many installations from differnt browser didnt work. what shld I do

I am using opera, mosilla and chrome... didnt work on the three of them. I am not finding the JDK folder... only jre6

I don't know what version you're needing, but below is the link you can use to obtain JDK, I would pay close attention to the installation path - it's possible jdk is installing in a different directory than what your JRE is.

Additionally, you can use the command 'java -version' to find out IF you do in fact have JDK installed
