I do not see a blue dotted line in Xcode

In the beginning our app with interface builder video, the teacher drags the label symbol and there are blue dotted lines to help him align the label. When I do that in Xcode, I do not see the blue lines, so how do I change the settings so I do see it?

In XCode, got to the Editor Menu, then "Canvas" and make sure that "Snap to Guides" is checked.
