I don't believe you can iterate over a NodeList with map()....

Hi,

Just wanted to note that I don't believe you can iterate over a NodeList with map(), contrary to what was mentioned in the video. If you look at the NodeList methods, you can only use forEach().

Good catch, this should be explained in the Teacher's Notes section! You might want to make a bug report as described on the Support page. If you're the first to report it, it may get you the special Exterminator badge. :beetle:

But you can still use array methods (like "map") by converting the nodeList into an array. For example:

let items = document.querySelectorAll("li");
let texts = [...items].map(a => a.textContent);
