i dont get hexidecimal

I dont understand the hecidecimal colors. Can someone derect me to a site that will explain it eaiser

I will help you out.

Think about a painter. Their pallets have a variety of colours, those colours come from a mixture that they have put together.

Now, think of that same pallet on your computer made up of the same different colours.

Now you have the colours visualized we will talk about the mixing.

Hexidecimal work based on mixtures. 6 to be precise, all dalling after your #. for example #1ea496.

That is not a colour th at means anything to me, I just picked those 6 characters randomly out of the valid usable characters.

A little info you need to know.

All numbers are comprised of ten characters, whether it is a mixture or them singularly. Those characters are 0-9. We use however a mixture of 16 colours

so we have our 0-9 but we need six more characters, which resulted us using a-f. so we have 0-9 and a-f to use as we please.

Remember that 6 digit.# from earlier. That's back.

1e,a4,96. The.following six characters are broken into three parts each having 2 characters.

The fist group aka the first 2 numbers which in this case is 1e represent red, the second represents green and the final 2 represent blue.

The.values just dictate a shade of the specific colour.

I hope I have helped you a bit and others that may be confused. What I have said is in complete simplicity. The minimum of what you need to know to.understand the hexidecimal.system.

So i need to remeber the red blue and green hexidecimal numbers and just mix those?

I feel the easiest way to think about it is in decimal you have 1-2-3-4-5-6-7-8-9-10-11 and so on, with Hex it goes 1-2-3-4-5-6-7-8-9-A-B-C-D-E-F where A = 10, B = 11, C = 12, and so on up to 15 then at decimal 16 your hex is 10, decimal 17 your hex is 11.
