Ruby Build a Simple Ruby on Rails Application Getting Started with Rails Create a Variable: Part 2

I don't get the question?

I first put in 'status' = "Hello" then that showed wrong then i tried status = "hello" still didn't work i'm not sure what variables they want me to write??

Hi Shane, from what I can see (I've just done the code challenge), it's asking you to put the string value "I'm on the internet." into a variable called "status". Make sure you are including the full stop as well as the apostrophe. If one character is wrong it will produce an error. So you should enter this code below the name variable.

status = "I'm on the internet."
