I don't have the preview on the design tab

There's no preview on the design tab only in the text also no preview button on the side or the view tab. Thanks for the help!!

Can you provide us a little more information so we can help you? Do you have a screenshot? What version of android studios are you running? Is everything up to date?

I don't know what happened but i just restarted my pc and opened Android studio it showed up, it's pretty weird though.
